Love the 'Don! Ranfy rakes on Seinfeld Night

 

CONEY ISLAND, NY (July 12, 2019) – Ranfy Adon collected a career-high four hits, sending the Brooklyn Marble Rye, the Short Season affiliate of the New York Mets, to a 3-1 victory over the West Virginia Black Bears on Seinfeld Night at MCU Park in front of 7,302 in the series opener.

BIG MOMENTS

  • Ranfy Adon’s two-RBI double in the bottom of the first gave the Marble Rye a 2-0 advantage. He singled and scored in the sixth on Antoine Duplantis’ run-scoring infield single.
  • P.J. Conlon, rehabbing from the Syracuse Mets, tossed two scoreless innings, striking out two in his return to Coney Island.
  • West Virginia tallied its only run on Matthew Frazier’s RBI double in the sixth.
