Dirocie's dinger brings BKLYN a 3-2 win

BROOKLYN, NY (August 1, 2018) – Anthony Dirocie crushed a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth, lifting the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Short Season, Class A affiliate of the New York Mets to a 3-2 win over the Tri-City ValleyCats Wednesday night in the series finale at MCU Park.

  • Trailing 2-0 in the sixth, Anthony Dirocie launched a three-run moonshot home run down the left field line against Tri-City reliever Austin Hansen to give Brooklyn a 3-2 lead.
  • Alex McKenna hit a two-run homer in the first inning, giving Tri-City a 2-0 advantage.
