PLAYOFF TICKETS ON SALE NOW

The Cyclones have officially locked up the Wild Card spot in the NYPL Playoffs, and will play the first game of the postseason at home on Tuesday, September 8th.  Brooklyn will take on the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, who finished the season with the best record in the NYPL.

The NYPL playoffs consist of two rounds of play, beginning on September 8th.  Three division winners and one Wild Card team (non-division winner with the best overall record) qualify for the playoffs, and compete in a best-of-three Semifinal round of play.  Brooklyn will face Mahoning Valley, and and Staten Island will take on the Lowell Spinners

The first game of each series will be played at the home field of the lower seed.  The final two games, if necessary, are then played at the home field of the higher seed, giving the team with the better record a "home field advantage."  As the Wild Card team, Brooklyn cannot have home field advantage, regardless of their opponent's record.

The Cyclones will host a minimum of one home playoff game, and a maximum of two.  For ticketing purposes, the games are designated Game A and B.

Playoff tickets are also be available by phone at 718-507-TIXX, or at the KeySpan Park or Citi Field ticket windows.
