The Cyclones lost to the Hudson Valley Renegades on Monday night, 3-2.  Angel Cuan (0-1) took the loss for Brooklyn, allowing three runs in five innings on eight hits.  Cuan surrendered two runs in the first inning and a third in the fourth.

Brooklyn was held scoreless until the eighth inning, when the team's comeback fell short by one with a two-run inning.

First baseman Sam Honeck went 3-for-4 with one RBI, and shortstop Matt Bouchard drove in Brooklyn's other run.  The Cyclones offense managed just seven hits overall.

The Cyclones travel to Hudson Valley on Monday, before returning to Brooklyn on Tuesday night for one of the most highly anticipated games of the season. On June 23rd, the Brooklyn Cyclones will be transformed into the Baracklyn Cyclones, honoring the 44th President of the United States with a night of patriotic partying at the ballpark.  The team will wear one-night-only "Baracklyn" jerseys, and the first 2,500 fans will receive a Baracklyn bobblehead.
