WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC SECURITY INFO

 

With the World Baseball Classic Qualifier to be played at MCU Park from Thursday - Sunday, here is a look at the prohibited items at the ballpark.  There will be additional security measures in effect at the ballpark for the tournament so we ask all fans to please be patient as we work to keep everyone in attendance safe.  All fans will be required to enter the ballpark through metal detectors.   Can't make it to the game?  All games will be streamed through WorldBaseballClassic.com. 

 

  • No Food & Beverage can be brought into MCU Park. There is a kosher food cart located on the concourse near section 9.
     
  • Alcoholic beverages and controlled or illegal substances may not be brought into MCU Park. Intoxicated or disorderly guests will not be admitted into MCU Park.
     
  • Disorderly guests inside MCU Park are subject to ejection and arrest.
     
  • Guests using foul or abusive language are subject to ejection and arrest.
     
  • Guests interfering with play in any manner, including the throwing of objects onto the field or entering the field, are subject to arrest.
     
  • Guests are not permitted to enter or remain in MCU Park wearing verbally provocative or inflammatory clothing and are subject to ejection.
     
  • All bags and hand-carried items are searched prior to entry. Items can be no longer than 16"x16 x8". There are no bag check facilities at MCU Park. We encourage all fans to NOT BRING bags / briefcases or backpacks to the ballpark unless absolutely necessary.
     
  • Prohibited items include items larger than 16" x 16 x8"; hard-sided coolers; all metal cans; glass bottles; open containers; commercial grade audio, video and photographic equipment; alcoholic beverages; illegal substances; laser pointers; noisemaking devices; fireworks, animals (except for assistive purposes); weapons and any items of similar nature.
     
  • MCU Park reserves the right to determine what items are deemed appropriate for entry.
     
  • Sunscreen will be allowed during the two (2) day games on Thursday and Friday. HOWEVER, no aerosol cans will be allowed in the ballpark.
     
  • Drones are prohibited in and around the ballpark at all times.
     
  • THERE WILL BE NO RE-ENTRY ALLOWED AT THE BALLPARK.
