For the second consecutive year the Brooklyn Cyclones have been awarded with Minor League Baseball’s Promotion of the Year, this time for their Ambush Baseball event. The team was recognized at the annual Promotional Seminar, this year held in Columbus, Ohio, and received the award at Huntington Park, home of the Columbus Clippers (AAA).
World Baseball Classic, Inc. (WBCI) today announced the venues and pools for the Qualifying Round of the 2017 World Baseball Classic, the fourth installment of the baseball tournament featuring many of the world’s greatest players. MCU Park will host qualifiers for the WBC in September, 2016.
On Sunday, December 20th, Santa will be making a stop at MCU Park to fuel up for his big day. Join the Cyclones, Sandy and Santa Claus for breakfast starting at 11:00 AM. The New York Mets have announced the winners of the 2015 Sterling Awards, emblematic of the team MVP at each level of their minor league system, and closer Alex Palsha received the award for the Brooklyn Cyclones. In addition, several former Cyclones Michael Conforto and Robert Gsellman were named the Organizational Player and Pitcher of the Year.

The Cyclones will close out the 2015 season on Monday evening at 5:00 PM against the Staten Island Yankees. The New York Cosmos announced that the club will play a regular season game in 2015 at Coney Island’s MCU Park. As part of its Spring Season schedule in the North American Soccer League (NASL), the Cosmos will face the Ottawa Fury on Saturday, May 2 at MCU Park. The Brooklyn Baseball Academy is recognized throughout New York City as one of the premier developmental baseball programs in the five boroughs. This winter, MCU Park will host a five-week program designed to develop and sharpen the fundamental skills that all of our athletes need in order to be successful on the baseball diamond.
