Biography:

Bonfe played six games in Brooklyn during the 2009 season, notching 11 at-bats. He spent the majority of the 2009 season with the Kingsport Mets (R), hitting .327 with 19 RBI, three home runs and a team-leading 12 doubles. Bonfe also led the K-Mets in on-base percentage (.426).
