July 27th -- Brooklyn, NY --
Upon Michael Terry's arrival at the MCU Park front gate, he was greeted with shouts of "congratulations!" as well as a shower of party poppers by the Beach Bums and Cyclones employees. Understandably, his initial reaction was surprise, but he quickly learned that he was the three-millionth fan to enter MCU Park since its inception in 2001. With Mr. Terry's entrance, the Brooklyn Cyclones became the fastest Short Season franchise to reach the 3,000,000 mark in Minor League Baseball history.

Shortly after being congratulated, Mr. Terry received a special Cyclones jersey with the name "3 million" on the back. He wore the jersey as he threw out a ceremonial first pitch just before the start of the game. At the conclusion of tonight's contest, Mr. Terry will have a chance to win either:

1) Three-million pennies ($30,000).

2) Two Season Tickets for the 2012 season, a $250 gift card for Kings Plaza, and a $250 gift card for Gargiulo's.

3) One night in a Luxury suite during the 2011 season and four season tickets for the 2012 season.

The Cyclones would like to extend a special thank you to all of our fans for contributing to our milestone mark over the past 11 years. The organization looks forward to offering more fun and thrills for the entire family for the rest of the season and beyond.
