The Cyclones fist-pumped their way to victory in the second of a three-game series against the Spinners on "Jersey? Sure!" night at MCU Park, winning by a score of 5-4. The win is the eighth home victory in a row for Brooklyn, bringing the team's home record to 14-2 (22-11 overall) and increasing their first-place lead over the Staten Island Yankees to four games in the McNamara Division.
C Juan Centeno, who went 2-for-2 with two runs and a walk, led off in the bottom of the eighth with a single to right-centerfield, igniting a Cyclones late-inning rally.
