On Sunday, April 26th, Cyclones single game tickets will be on sale, and fans who come to the ballpark can meet Brooklyn legend John Franco, who will be on hand from 9am to 11am, signing autographs, taking pictures, and meeting with Cyclones fans.
A local hero, Franco grew up in Brooklyn and starred at Lafayette High School and St. John's University, before beginning his professional career. Franco pitched in the major leagues for 21 seasons -- 14 of which were spent with his hometown New York Mets. He was a four-time National League All-Star, whose 424 saves rank fourth all-time and are the most by a lefthander in baseball history.
"We are extremely excited to welcome John Franco to KeySpan Park on April 26th," said Cyclones General Manager Steve Cohen. "Like the Cyclones, John represents the best of Brooklyn baseball, and he will forever be synonymous with the borough. This is a great chance for our fans to meet John, and pick up some tickets for some summer fun!"
- Beginning Sunday, April 26th at 9am, Cyclones single game tickets will be available online, by phone at 718-507-TIXX, or at the KeySpan Park Ticket Windows
