Mark Cohoon, who starred with the Cyclones in 2009, but his stamp on the first homestand of the season for the Binghamton Mets (AA) on Wednesday night. The left hander struck out 11 in a 5-3 win over the Portland Sea Dogs.
The 11 strikeouts were a career-high for the Mets 12th round selection in the 2008 draft. His previous high mark came on June 4, 2010 with Savannah when he struck out 10 during a complete game shutout vs. Ashville.
