FAQ's

I live in the area. Can I try out for the Cyclones?
The Cyclones are an affiliate of the New York Mets. As such, every player is under contract with the Mets - not specifically the Cyclones. The players are from around the world, and are typically age 18-23. In most cases, they have been scouted for at least one or two years, before being drafted. Once a player is drafted and/or signed, he can be assigned to any of the Mets' farm teams (Brooklyn, South Carolina, Florida, Binghamton, Las Vegas) and can be moved from team to team. At this time, the Mets do not have any plans for open tryouts.

How can I get season tickets?
If you are interested in becoming a season ticket holder, please call our ticket office at 718-449-8497 to join our waiting list. You can also send an email to info@brooklyncyclones.com.

Can I bring my own food to the game?
As a minor league baseball policy, outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the ballpark. If you are planning to eat at one of the various nearby food stands or restaurants, or if you are bringing sandwiches and drinks to the beach before the game, please keep in mind that you will not be able to bring that food into the stadium.  If you have a food allergy and require a special diet, you can e-mail info@BrooklynCyclones.com for further information.

How can I have a birthday announced on the scoreboard or PA system?
Notify a Cyclones representative at the information booth located on the Concourse level near section 9 on the day of the game.  We will do our best to give you birthday recognition during a game. Since we get so many requests, though, we can't guarantee that every birthday wish will make it to the video board and PA.

I see a lot of people in the luxury boxes, and on the Brooklyn Rooftop. How can I reserve the Rooftop, or a Suite?
The Party Deck is available for rental on a nightly basis. The Suites are available on a nightly or a yearly basis. For information on pricing and availability, please contact the ticket office at 718-449-8497

How many seats are there at MCU Park?
The ballpark holds 7,000 fans in the seating bowl and outfield bleachers, so anything above that number is considered to be a sellout.  However, we have had over 10,000 people here for a game with standing room only tickets.

You're giving something away on the night I'm coming to a game. What time do the gates open?
The gates open an hour and a half before game time. Most giveaway items are given to a certain number of people (the first 3,000 fans, the first 1,500 fans 14 and younger, the first 1,000 fans 21 and older, etc.) As soon as the gates open, that quantity is distributed, so if you are interested in the item that night, we recommend that you arrive early.

Can I get autographs at the game?
Getting autographs is part of the fun in the minor leagues, and the Cyclones' players and coaches are usually available before and after the games. As it gets closer to gametime, of course, they all have to prepare for the actual game, and may be extremely busy. The Cyclones get a lot of requests, and they do their best to get to everyone they can.

Does my child need a ticket?
Children who are 3 years old and younger do not need a ticket. They will not have a specific seat, but they can sit on mom or dad's lap.

It might rain, if I don't come and the game is played, can I get a refund on my tickets?
There are no exchanges on tickets unless a regulation game (as defined by Minor League Baseball) is not played and the game is rescheduled due to rain or other events.  Rain checks are eligible to exchanged at the MCU Park Box Office.  Note that a regulation game has been played even if it is suspended after it becomes a regulation game.   Tickets may be exchanged for up to one calendar year from the rained out contest.  In any event, no refunds will be given.

Parking
The parking lot is operated by One Parking. All vehicles entering the stadium parking areas may be subject to search.  Parking costs just $6 at games (starting two hours prior to the scheduled first pitch).  For complete parking information CLICK HERE
